In September of 2022, the McPherson Housing Coalition (MHC) received notice that the organization had been awarded a substantial grant. Through the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) initially pledged $1.2 million to the project.

The chilly weather couldn’t keep Inman’s Main Street from bustling with car enthusiasts and music lovers during Inman’s Annual Classic Car Show Saturday, April 23. Classic cars and trucks of all makes and models lined both sides of Main Street.
The McPherson County All Schools Day Button Hunt will begin on Friday, May 5. This year there will be both a medallion hunt and a virtual hunt, each with a $250 prize for the person finding the medallion or identifying the virtual item and location.

During the All Schools Day meeting on April 24, Lucky Kidd made an announcement that his mother, LaVena Kidd passed away on Sunday, April 23. Kidd also shared that his mother won the design contest in 2012, which was the 99th year of McPherson County All Schools Day.
