Local merchants have formed McPherson Business Masterminds after seeing success with similar groups in places like Salina or Wichita. The Business Masterminds’ goal is to support each other during this time of inflation and recession.
LaVena Kidd’s Button Design 2012:
During the All Schools Day meeting on April 24, Lucky Kidd made an announcement that his mother, LaVena Kidd passed away on Sunday, April 23. Kidd also shared that his mother won the design contest in 2012, which was the 99th year of McPherson County All Schools Day.

The 110th McPherson County All Schools Day is only a month away and Chair of the All Schools Day Committee, Denise O’Connor- Munsey has put a lot of work into bringing back the carnival. For several years, Mike Rausch was the All Schools Day Chairman.
