Central Christian College of Kansas is honored to have Senator Rick Wilborn, Vice President of the Kansas Senate, joining us as the 2023 Commencement Speaker. Vice President Wilborn is a 40-year veteran of the insurance industry, serving in executive leadership and 25 years as a registered lobbyist.

McPherson County Special Education Cooperative (McCSEC) is hosting a free, in-person event for families to meet with service providers who represent various resources for people with disabilities, including therapies, equipment, transition services, and other resources. The Agency Fair, “The Road to Possibilities” will be on April 25 at the McPherson Community Building from 5:30 p.m.
At Monday’s County Commission meeting, commissioners were presented with four bids for completion of improvements in McPherson Rural Water District #1 (RWD1) facilities. Approximately three years ago, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) presented RWD1 with a consent order stating the district was deficient and needed to be fixed and improved.
