Farmers Alliance announces leadership changes
Brian D. Lopata, President and Chief Executive Officer at Farmers Alliance has announced three promotions within the Executive Leadership Team, following the recent meeting of the company’s Board of Directors. The 2022 Parade of Lights
In September, it was announced that there won’t be the annual McPherson Parade of Lights this year due to unforeseen circumstances, according to a Facebook post from the team who runs the parade. Last Friday, McPherson County KS Sheriff ’s Office posted on Facebook that McPherson Law Enforcement will host a parade of lights on Dec.
McPherson College student recognized in NextGen Under 30
McPherson College student Emma Speer was among the inaugural class of the NextGen Under 30 recognized at an awards ceremony in Topeka on Dec. 2. NextGen Under 30 is a recognition program developed by the Kansas legislature that celebrates the talent cultivated in Kansas to keep young professionals in the state.
CCCK earns funding for 2022 Alumni Project
On Giving Tuesday, Central Christian College of Kansas raised over $20,000, which was their goal amount to fund the 2022 Alumni Project for Greer Auditorium. After making the goal, the amount was stretched to $28,000 and a total amount of $25,780 was raised. The extra funds will be put towards future alumni projects.
Homicide investigation underway in Allen and Neosho counties
ALLEN COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), the Allen County Sheriff ’s Office, and the Neosho County Sheriff ’s Office are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead Saturday evening in Chanute, Kansas.
