Commissioners hear shortened BPU report

Josh Bedel, General Manager-McPherson Board of Public Utilities (BPU), presented City Commissioners with the BPU report at Tuesday’s meeting.Due to snow and ice BPU has been concentrating on truck maintenance and projects that can be completed inside. Once the snow and ice melt, crews will concentrate on rebuilding the lines south the cemetery on Avenue A.

The tragic story of four-month-old Elijah Hugh Wedel has left his family in mourning and seeking justice. Elijah’s short life was filled with love and joy but was cut short due to circumstances that have left his family devastated and his babysitter in jail.Elijah’s mother, Randi Freeman who lives in Salina, first met Amanda Vinardi through Elijah’s paternal grandmother.

Lindsborg Cultural Crawl: A celebration of local culture and creativity

Lindsborg invites residents and visitors to explore the town’s rich cultural scene with the Cultural Crawl. Running from January 2 to February 8, the Cultural Crawl encourages participants to learn, explore, and engage with the local cultural scene, making it a fun and enriching experience for everyone involved.Participants can pick up a Lindsborg Cultural Crawl Passport at any of the seven participating organizations: Red Barn Studio Museum, Smoky Valley Arts & Folklife Center, Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery, Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum, Clara Hatton Center, Lindsborg Community Library, and the Lindsborg Arts Council.
