In a tense appearance before the McPherson City Commission on Tuesday, resident Nathan Vanderhoof publicly criticized city leadership for what he described as years of inaction regarding his neighbor. Vanderhoof, who lives in a cul-de-sac near that property, accused Mayor Tom Brown and other city officials of failing to enforce city codes and protect the neighborhood from what he called a menace and a nuisance.
