On Friday, May 31, officers from McPherson Police and Sheriff Departments participated alongside McPherson County Special Olympics Athletes for the 2024 Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.The run started at Domino’s Pizza on the corner of Main St.
Despite the rain the night before, the weather was a perfect 70-80 degrees and sunny for the Black Kettle Festival and Car Show on Saturday.Festival goers enjoyed plane rides, food, music, games, a parade, and lots of cars at Saturday’s event.
