
Rawson pins way to first-ever state title
SALINA, Kansas – For the first time ever, a state champion was born from one of the founding schools of girls wrestling in Kansas as McPherson’s Ciara Rawson claimed the crown in the class 4A 235-pound weight class with a pin in the championship match. McPherson Girls: Rawson, a senior for McPherson, was one of seven different Lady Pup wrestlers that qualified for state.
