Lulu Irene (Forbenius) Swenson

September 7, 2022 at the Bethany Home at the age of 92. She was born near Linconville, Kansas on September 8, 1929, the fourth child of Karl and Katherine Lou was raised on the family homestead with her two older brothers, older sister and one younger sister.

Carolyn Marie (Bradbury) Nading

Carolyn Marie (Bradbury) Nading, 88, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 17, 1934, in Welch, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hosea and Bessie (McCrery) Bradbury. Carolyn was united in marriage to John Leander Nading, Jr. on June 1, 1952 in Altamont, Kansas. While John went to Korea, Carolyn became a graduate of Labette County Community High School with the class of 1953. Carolyn and John started their married life in Coffeyville, Kansas, later moving to Wichita and then to Moundridge in 1972. Carolyn was the Moundridge City Clerk for twenty-five years, from 1972 to 1997. She was a member of the Moundridge United Methodist Church and was Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter in McPherson during the 1970’s and 1980’s. An avid fisherwoman, Carolyn earned the nickname of “Lucky”, as she always caught the most and biggest fish! Carolyn is survived by her husband, John of their home; her children, Karl Nading and his wife, Carol of Wichita; Audrey Diederich and her husband, Pat of McPherson, John Nading, III of Moundridge, Keryl Christian and her husband, John of Hutchinson, and Sharon Saylor and her husband, Lonnie of Hutchinson; brothers, Floyd (Valerie) Bradbury, Florida, Robert (Alice) Bradbury, Missouri, and Douglas (Marge) Bradbury, Louisianna; sisters, Judy (Gary) McGuinnes, Topeka, and Rosemary Sandy, Florida; grandchildren, Andrew Nading, Emma Lauer, Nic Winsky, Adam Winsky, Rusty Winsky, Gina Wedel, Rachelle Nading, Heather Jordan, Alexandria Danks, Angela Saylor, Rebecca Stoker, and Lucas Saylor; and 18 greatgrandchildren.

Leona Mae Graber

Wichita, KS - Leona Mae Graber went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. She was 94. Mom will be remembered for her sense of humor, artistic ability in painting, poetry, and music. Her quick wit, with a hint of good-natured orneriness, endeared her to many. Leona is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; daughter Nancy; daughter-in-law, Monica Graber. She is survived by her children, Keith Graber and Karen (Greg) Rupp; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Victor Schrag and Dean Schrag.
