Gary T. Gharst

TOPEKA- Gary T. Gharst, 81, passed into the loving arms of his Savior April 26, 2022. He was born June 2, 1940 at Woodlawn, Kansas; the son of Elmer E. and Isabell F. (Blanc) Gharst. Gary attended first grade in Woodlawn, Kansas. In 1947 the family moved to their farm in the Lower Banner Community, 1 1 ⁄2 miles south of Holton, Kansas. He attended Lower Banner School from 2nd - 8th grades and then graduated from Holton High School in 1958. Gary states, “I am still learning every day.”

December 5, 1927-January 14, 2022 Berty Jane Hoover Skellenger, 94, formerly of McPherson , passed away in her sleep on Friday, January 14, 2022 at North Pointe Assisted Living in Mayodan, North Carolina. There will be no formal service and her cremains will be buried beside her Husband Leo, in Mcpherson Cemetery on April 14, 2022.
