MANHATTAN, Kansas – A Wildcat takeover took place inside of Kansas State University’s Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday, and it’s not the Wildcats many are thinking of as the Moundridge girls basketball team capped their season with a 62-51 win over Doniphan West in the class 2A state championship game. MOUNDRIDGE, Kansas – An undefeated season has made its way to the class 2A state basketball tournament, as the Moundridge boys will be on the hunt for a three-peat following a 42-30 victory over Berean Academy in Friday’s sub-state championship game.
