CANTON – While it was a struggle at moments in 2021-22 for both the Canton/Galva boys and girls basketball programs, they both look for successes in 2022-23 based on returning athletes and on court experience.

For over 20 years, a basketball program between the Moundridge Elementary School third graders and High School basketball players has been going strong and has continued again this year. Shelby Graber, USD 423 Board Clerk said that the Basketball Buddies exchange letters back and forth throughout the season and spend a day playing games and eating lunch together.
