Bullpups fall to Red Raiders in state semifinal duel
WAMEGO, Kansas – For the fourth time in the last five seasons, the McPherson Bullpups found themselves in the class 4A state semifinal game. Much like their previous visits to the sub-state game, however, McPherson fell short of a title game berth as the Bullpups fell 33-16 to Wamego on the road Friday night.

MCPHERSON – The temperature continues to go down and Bullpup wins continue to go up, as McPherson defeated Circle 49-28 in the state football quarterfinals Friday night at McPherson stadium behind a pick-six and a strong second half performance. The final score of Friday night’s sectional game was a bit misleading, as McPherson trailed the upstart Thunderbirds 20-7 late in the second quarter.

Pups over dogs: McPherson silences Ark City with shutout win
MCPHERSON – The Bullpups squared off against the Bulldogs at McPherson Stadium Friday night and instead of McPherson High School against McPherson College, it was against Ark City in a 35-0 shutout in favor of the high school to move into the quarterfinals of the playoffs.
