Vikings return two state qualifiers for new season

LINDSBORG, Kansas – The Smoky Valley High School girls tennis team will miss the losses of three state qualifiers in the upcoming season, but the Vikings return two other state qualifiers and five players with varsity experience to help bring home another successful season. Led by fifth year head coach Vince Warbinton and assistant coaches Emily Pihl, Gary Butler and Thomas DeWitt, Smoky Valley believes a promising season is in store despite losing a trio of state qualifiers from a season ago.
