Dick E. Clark, 87, peacefully passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 26, 2022 with family members at his side.

Dick was born on August 21,1934 to Carl and Esther Clark near McPherson, Kansas – the youngest of eight children. He had fond memories and often talked of his growing-up years on a wheat farm with his older sisters and brother.

Dick proudly served in the U.S .Marine Corps from 1954 – 1958. In 1956, Dick and Mary Jo Snider were married. They have three children – Judith Helwagen, Eric Clark and Nathan Clark, and six grandchildren – Bradley and Megan Helwagen, Nathan and Lauren Clark, and Carly and Keaton Clark.

Dick attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas after being discharged from the Marine Corps. He later attended Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Dick is preceded in death by his parents and

A Celebration of Life will be held at the New Gottland Covenant Church McPherson, Kansas at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 to honor Dick.
