Harold John Engelbrecht, Jr.

Harold John Engelbrecht, Jr., passed away on July 19, 2022 in Wichita KS at the age of 91. He was born in Andale, KS on October 13, 1930 to Harold Engelbrecht and Viola Hinkley.

Harold was a wonderful father, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa and brother. He loved to fish, shoot skeet and spend time with family. Serving in the Air Force was something he was very proud of. He loved to tell stories of his years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter.

He is survived by his children, Diana (Floyd) Jaggers, Stan Engelbrecht, Ron Engelbrecht, Sandie (Darren) Wesbrooks, Ann (Paul) Vick, Randy (Debbie) Engelbrecht and Mark (Pam) Engelbrecht; fifteen grandchildren, and twenty greatgrandchildren; sister Joyce (David) Moore; brother Dennis (Michelle) Engelbrecht; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at DeVorss, Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary at 201 S. Hydraulic, Wichita, KS 67211 on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. A Rosary Prayer will be held at Christ The King Catholic Church at 4411 W. Maple St., Wichita, KS 67209 on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. It will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial also at Christ The King beginning after the Rosary at approximately 10:30 a.m. Committal will follow at White Chapel Cemetery, located at 1806 N. Oliver Ave., Wichita, KS 67208.
