Jamie Lynn Embers, 62, of McPherson, Kansas passed away at 3:00 a.m., Wednes- day, January 5th, 2022 unexpectedly at McPherson Health And Rehab in McPherson.

Jamie was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 2, 1959, a daughter of Carmena (Hansen) and Dennis Johnson. Jamie attended and graduated from McPherson High School in 1977. She then attended and graduated from McPherson Central College, McPherson, Kansas. She was a member of First Unit- ed Methodist Church in McPherson. Jamie enjoyed sewing, knitting, helping around the house and spending time with her friends and family. Jamie Lynn Johnson was united in marriage to Ga- len Embers on July 22, 1981 in McPherson, Kansas. The couple established their first home together in McPherson. This union was blessed with the birth if two children a son and daughter, Zachary and Elizabeth. She is survived by loving and devoted husband Galen Embers, of McPherson, Kansas; her children, Zachary Embers and his wife Emily, of Okinawa, Ja- pan and Elizabeth Stewart and her husband Leon, of Hondo, Texas; her mother Carmena Johnson, of Wich- ita, Kansas and her sister Denine Foster, of Wichi- ta, Kansas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren. Jamie was preceded in death by her father. Services will be held at a later date.
