WICHITA — The Women’s Association of the Wichita Symphony is pleased to announce their Tour Designers’ Digs to Support Symphony Gigs event. The homes of five of Wichita’s premier designers and decorators will be open for public tour.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 10 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 11. The ticket price of $20 allows a one-time tour through each residence.
Tickets may be purchased ahead of time at various locations in Wichita, Newton and Windfield, on the Wichita Symphony Orchestra website at www.wso.org, or on the day of the event at the Designers’ homes in Wichita:

The Tour Designers’ Digs to Support Symphony Gigs event is wholly a project of the Women’s Association of the Wichita Symphony, and all proceeds will be used to support the Wichita Symphony Orchestra.
With nearly 200 members, the Women’s Association of the Wichita Symphony has contributed significantly to the success of the orchestra for 70 years.
Members give invaluable volunteer time, ideas and financial support to further assist the orchestra.
Throughout the years, members have provided their service for such important projects as Young People’s Concerts, Symphony mailings, Orchestra Courtesy refreshments, Symphony Store and 17 Symphony Showhouse events. The Women’s Association has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit the Wichita Symphony.
Founded in 1944, the Wichita Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest arts organizations in Kansas. During its 72 years of existence, the orchestra’s mission has been to provide the state with the highest quality musical presentations for as many different audiences as possible.
The largest and most active performing arts organization in the state, the orchestra has been nationally recognized for its artistic level and for the community support it receives.
