The city will begin patching along Grimes Street this week from First Street, northbound to Hulse Street.

According to Public Works Director, Jeff Woodward, the minor repairs will take approximately six weeks to complete. He also noted the patching is a “temporary fix.” Future plans include major reconstruction once drainage issues have been addressed. Sewer and road repairs are contingent on funding availability through the annual budget planning process.
