Chili for a cause

Friends and family of Julie (Unruh) Toon are hosting a chili supper fundraiser from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Canton Fairgrounds. Julie is battling a rare form of cancer, so proceeds from the event will go toward her expenses.

Cost for the meal is by free-will donation, and attendees can also participate in a raffle. If you are unable to attend but still wish to make a donation, checks made out to the "Julie Toon Fund" may be mailed to State Bank of Canton, P.O. Box 66 Canton, KS 67428. Julie is the daughter of Bob and Mary Unruh of Canton.
