BURRTON — Leading by one entering the fourth quarter, the Inman High School boys basketball team was eight minutes away from sending shock waves through the Burrton Invitational.

With No. 1 seed Berean Academy on the ropes, the two teams seemed destined for overtime until Berean Academy’s Ben Herman nailed the game winner with time expiring for the 44-42 win.

Lucas Barlow scored a team high 15 points while Payton Froese chipped in with 12.

Inman plays host school Burrton for third place at 6 p.m. Saturday.
