The McPherson College Jazz Band and Concert Band will perform their fall concert at 4 p.m. on Nov. 19 in Brown Auditorium on the McPherson College campus.

The concert will feature stand-out sophomore flutest Lillian Oeding, performing Cecile Chaminade’s “Concertino.” The Concert Band will also perform Holst’s “2nd Suite in F for Military Band,” and Alfred Reed’s “Festival Prelude.” The Jazz Band will perform jazz classics like “Little Brown Jug,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing,” and “How High the Moon.”

This concert is free and an excellent opportunity to hear why the McPherson College band was recently selected as one of only four collegiate bands to perform at this year’s KMEA state conference.
