Mary Joan Kinnamon, 77-year-old resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma and long-time resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed from this life early on Dec. 30, 2017 at The Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma with family members at her side.

Mary was born on July 17, 1940 in Wichita to Gideon and Lena Krehbiel and was raised in and around Moundridge and McPherson. Mary was married to Roscoe C. Turner in August 1958, and was later married to Terry Kinnamon, both now deceased.

Until the last few years when the effects of Alzheimer’s impaired her mental abilities and then slowed her body, she was joyfully involved in the local church, in caring for those in need, and in writing songs, and performing special music. Until the very end of her life, when music played, she would sing the words of the old hymns that she held in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and all four of her sisters. She is survived by her three children Terry Turner; Ted Turner and his wife Karen; and Toni Turner Budd and her husband Ted; seven grandchildren Taylor and her husband Josh Greenslade; Morgan Turner; Brock Turner and his wife Molly; Madison Turner; Sydney Turner; Natalie Budd; and Nathan Budd; three great–grandchildren Timmy, Stephen, and Ember Greenslade; two nieces, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

We mourn, but not as those who have no hope. Graveside services will be privately held at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas. To sign the online guestbook, visit
