PITTSBURG, Kan.  — McPherson College sophomore Amy Braimbridge earned NAIA All-America honors with a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash at the 2018 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday at the Robert W. Plaster Center.

Braimbridge stopped the clock in 55.91 seconds, breaking the school record of 56.69 seconds she posted in Friday’s prelims. Shadae Hilton of Southern University-New Orleans won the national title by nearly two seconds after running a blistering time of 53.38.

Her finish left the McPherson women in a tie for 37th place with five points.
