The Monitor FCE Unit met on May 22 at the home of Jodene Fisher and six members were present.
Jodene Fisher gave the lesson “healthy cooking styles.” This lesson emphasized the preparation of healthy and colorful vegetables and grain.
Jodene Fisher, president, opened the meeting. Roll call was answered with “Your favorite cooking style or the kitchen utensil you use most.”
Mary Unruh, Mary Ellen Howell, Lois Neher and Fisher attended the Spring Tea on April 24.
Neher, who was the guest speaker, shared her experience as a missionary in Nigeria. Fisher and Unruh attended, “District Recognition Day” in Moundridge on April 9.
Monitor Received the Following recognition: and awards for 2017: Recognition for sixty years of Gold Seals, first place award in the county and honorable mention.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. on June 18 at the home of Rhonda Towes.
