Michael Gene Reinecker 59, of Phoenix, Arizona, died on Dec. 6, 2018, in Phoenix after a long illness.
He was born the son of Gene Hayden and Joan Lee (Edwards) Reinecker, on March 25, 1958, in McPherson.
He was one of six children born to this union, four daughters and two sons, Cynthia, Pam, Deb, Rick, Mike, and Janee’. He attended the Roosevelt grade school, Park School, McPherson Junior High and graduated from McPherson High School in 1976.
He resided in Wichita, Florida, California, Colorado, and Arizona and always made friends where ever he was. He was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Lee Reinecker; a sister Cynthia Lynn Reinecker; and a nephew Jason Orth.
Surviving family members include his father, Gene H. Reinecker, McPherson; siblings, Pam Washburn and husband, Bill Hutchinson; Deb Orth and husband, Dave, McPherson; Rick Reinecker, Wichita; and Janee’ Doll, Richfield, Wisconsin; a special friend Jeff Weimer of Phoenix, Arizona; many nieces and nephews other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, with Pastor Chris Whitacre officiating.
