Donna Marie Ratzloff, 83, Canton, passed away on Oct. 7, 2018, at the Cedars, McPherson.

She  was born at Goessel, on Sept. 11, 1935, the youngest child of Nellie Maude (Fortner) and Floyd Fletcher Sellers. 

She graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1953.

She was a member of the Canton United Methodist Church where she and Menford Ratzloff were married on July 21, 1953, and where she was a faithful member for many years. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Canton Literary Study Club. 

Throughout the years, she was employed by the Lyons State Bank and the McPherson Co-op Credit Union.

Donna and Menford moved from Canton to Lyons in 1968. In 1979, they moved to McPherson, and in 1996, the couple returned to Canton. 

She is survived by her dedicated husband of 65 years, Menford Ratzloff Canton; her son Gregg A. (Mary Sean) of Shawnee; Cathryn Ratzloff of Mesquite; Texas and Siri Harrell (Rex) of McPherson; her grandchildren Shannon (Lanae) Powell, Brandon Powell, Spencer (Caitlyn) Ratzloff, Bennett Ratzloff, and Aidan Ratzloff; and 6 great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Marcell Sellers and Elton Sellers and a sister, Leona Lindgren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at the Canton United Methodist Church.  

Interment will be in the Canton Township Cemetery.  Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canton United Methodist Church, in care of Olson’s Mortuary or the Canton Library Building Fund, in care of the McPherson County Community Foundation.
