GREAT BEND— The McPherson 12U Reds baseball team was back on the road to take on Great Bend on Wednesday and ended with a win, and a draw. The Reds beat Great Bend 9-3 in game one, and tied 9-9 in game two.

Jase Fitzmorris started on the mound in game one and won his sixth game of the year. Cooper Holler and Brock Richardson also pitched in game one. The Reds dominated in the first two innings by scoring eight runs. Richardson continued to be the Red's top slugger by hitting his seventh home run of the summer. Carter Allen was 3-for-3 at the plate.

Game two was more competitive, which led to a tie ballgame. Six Reds recorded one hit. Ian Razak and Brenden Doile pitched in game two.
