This weekend will be the fourth “Frisbee Feed” in Lindsborg, a fundraiser for the after prom party at Smoky Valley schools.

1. Unique dining experience

Grab a frisbee and … fill your plate. Hold off on the game of catch, as during the frisbee meal the disc will be your serving platter. In year one of this fourth year event, some people came out of curiosity over the phrase “Frisbee Feed” and learned that the meal was served up on a paper plate on top of the flying disc, which was marked with the logos of the event’s sponsors.

For $7, attendees can get a meal that includes a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, chips and a drink.

2. Cut a rug

Following dinner will be a street dance, featuring Numa Sonica and Mahan the Band. At 8:30 The Blades will take center stage.

3. A good cause

The After Prom Committee raises funds and organizes activities to create a fun, safe event for Smoky Valley High School students to participate in after their prom this spring.

round 30 parents volunteer to run the event’s activities and cook and serve breakfast in the morning.

After Prom is held in the gymnasium and commons area of Smoky Valley High School.
