Maxine F. Yost, 93, died Friday (Sept. 13, 2019) at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge. She was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Michigan, the daughter of Glenn and Ella (Harms) Litwiller.

She was united in marriage to Glenn H. Unruh on Feb. 27, 1980.  He died on Nov. 29, 1995. She was later married to Clayton Yost on Nov. 27, 2004. 

She was a member of the Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Hesston.

Maxine worked as a LPN and was a devoted homemaker.

Survivors include her husband Clayton Yost; fourteen step-children; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; one brother; and two sisters.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Unruh; brother, William Litwiller and sister Melva (Verle) Eicher.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday (Sept. 15, 2019) at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Sunday, at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Hesston. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday (Sept. 16, 2019) at the church. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Lone Tree Cemetery.
