Gallagher 39-11

Peter 38-12

Both Gallagher and Peter went 4-0 last week. The two disagree on a few games this week, including what should be a good game between undefeated Baylor and Oklahoma State.

Iowa State at Texas Tech

Gallagher- Texas Tech fell victim to bad officiating in last week’s overtime loss to undefeated Baylor. I think it will be tough for the Red Raiders to rebound against a solid Iowa State team. 27-21 Iowa State

Peter- What I see is Texas Tech’s offense vs. Iowa State’s defense. I think the Cyclones have the edge, they are a 72.3 percent favorite. However, the Red Raiders are coming off a double overtime loss to Baylor, so this could be a coin-flip. 38-31 Texas Tech

West Virginia at No. 5 Oklahoma

Gallagher- Oklahoma is favored by 33 points. I don’t think the Sooner cover, but I do think they win. 47-27 OU

Peter- It’s not looking good for West Virginia after losing two straight to Texas and Iowa State. The slump will continue because the Mountaineers don’t have enough firepower to stop Jalen Hurts, CeCe Lamb, or anyone for that matter. 42-14 Oklahoma

TCU at Kansas State

Gallagher- I could see this game going either way. K-State at home is what swings my pick to the Wildcats. 20-17 KSU

Peter- There is no question both TCU and KSU need this win. This will definitely be a low-scoring game. Not to mention, they both had two weeks to prepare. I believe K-State has the edge and should go back to pounding the ball and take the heat off Skylar Thompson. 17-13 Kansas State.

No. 18 Baylor at Oklahoma State

Gallagher- After losing to Texas Tech in ugly fashion, I don’t have too much faith in Oklahoma State. I could very easily see them winning this game, then losing at Iowa State next week. I don’t think the Cowboys are good enough to contend for the Big 12, but I do think they’re good enough to ruin Baylor’s chance at a Big 12 title. 45-35 OSU

Peter- This might be the time to stop sleeping on the Bears. They are still undefeated and it wasn’t for Oklahoma, they would shoe-in in winning the Big 12 title. The Cowboys had two weeks to recover after being stunned by Texas Tech. Taking down Baylor is medicine they need. 27-24 Baylor

Kansas at No. 15 Texas

Gallagher- I hope Kansas fans enjoyed their offseason. That’s probably as good as football is going to get this year for the Jayhawks. 44-17 Texas

Peter-Dare I say upset alert? Just kidding, Kansas does not have enough talent to stop Texas. An easy win for the Longhorns after a tough loss to Oklahoma last week. 38-3 Texas

No. 17 Arizona State at No. 13 Utah

Gallagher- In the preseason I picked Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, and Utah to make the playoffs. I don’t think the Utes are as good as those three teams, but a one-loss Pac 12 Champion has a solid chance at making the playoffs, and I still think Utah can be that team. I can’t back down on Utah now. 33-27 Utah

Peter- I’m fan of Utah’s Hallandale trio (Tyler Huntley, Zack Moss and Demari Simpkins), so there is a bit of a bias for me. However, this could be the Utes’ toughest competition in the Pac 12. Herm Edwards is a no-nonsense coach has really brought relevancy to the Sun Devils. I expect a defensive ball as both averaged less than 20 points allowed this season. 20-13 Utah
