The McPherson County Community Foundation recently announced grant awards made from funds administered by the foundation.

 

 

 

The following grants are administered by the McPherson County Community Foundation.

$2,940 – McPherson Free Methodist Church – Outreach McPherson

To be used for the purchase of mattresses. This grant is made possible by the Kansas Health Foundation Public Health Fund.

$2,000 – Soderstrom Elementary School

To be used for equipment for the sensory room. This grant is made possible by the Kansas Health Foundation Children’s Fund.

$5,000 – Kansas Food Bank Warehouse

To be used for the Food 4 Kids Backpack program. This grant is made possible by the Kansas Health Foundation Children’s Fund.

$10,000 – Cradle to Crayons

To be used for Outback conversion Phase 2. This grant is made possible by the Kansas Health Foundation Children’s Fund.

$10,000 – Valley Hope Foundation

To be used for the Hope Builder Club. This grant is made possible by the Wedel Health Fund.

 

 

The following grants are made possible by the David J. Nutt Fund, administered by the McPherson County Community Foundation.

$2,100 – Bethany Lutheran Church

To be used for snacks and meals for the K.I.C.K. program.

$4,320 – USD 400/ Nursing / Athletics

To be used for portable automated external defibrillators.

$2,100 – Cub Scout Pack 3120

To be used for increased registration costs and a pinewood derby track.

$500 – We Care in the LBK

To be used for weekend meal bags for kids.

$2,500 – Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church

To be used for the offset of increased expenses related to the Sprout House Collaboration.

$680 – Midsummer’s Festival

To be used for Kubb tournament sets.

$2,720 – USD 400

To be used for resources related to teaching technology and digital citizenship to elementary and middle school students.

$2,530 – USD 400

To be used for the Smoky Valley Baseball Field equipment.

$750 – USD 400

To be used for the Soderstrom Grand Pals program.

$2,500 – Lindsborg At Work Association

To be used for the Lindsborg Mural Program.

$4,300 – Sprout House Learning Center

To be used for creative curriculum.
