Michale "Mike" Ervin Riley, 68, Kidder, Missouri, passed away at his home on Aug. 9, 2016. He had lived in Kidder for the past 16 years and had previously lived in McPherson.
Mike was born on Oct. 11, 1947, in Fort Scott, to Robert and Thelma A. Riley. He had served our country in the Army serving in Germany from 1972-1973 as a sharp shooter and had earned the Good Conduct Medal. He had worked as a truck driver and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Patrick Riley and Denny Riley; and sister, Thelma.
Survivors include wife Naomi C. Riley; children, Michale Riley, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Jeffrey Riley, Montezuma, Mary Kay Riley, Stewartsville, Missouri, Sarah Tucker, Riley, Karen Hudson, Nickerson, and Robert Krause, Liberal; uncle, Glenn Riley, Kidder, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at the Kidder United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Brown Funeral Home in Cameron, Missouri.
