Andrew Jay Davenport, 51, of Salina, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at home with family.

Andrew was born in Salina on Aug. 31, 1964, a son of the late Barbara L. (Werth) Simpson and Paul J. Davenport.

He participated in the Special Olympics in bowling.

Andrew was a loving soul who touched the lives of many people.

Survivors include sisters, Shelly Gabel of Salina and Janelle Hokett of McPherson; and a brother, Mark Davenport of McPherson.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Douglas, Daniel and Michael Davenport; sister, Karen Sebree Pearce; and niece Michelle Sebree.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation.

Services are private at the convenience of family.
