The leaves, the cooler temps, the seasonal treats.
Fall is here, so enjoy it while it lasts.
So many of us are likely still in a daze from this pandemic. Time seems to be stuck and moving rapidly at the same time. So just roll with it and enjoy it. Perhaps this fall can provide some respite from the stress of 2020. Even if only for a few moments. There is a lot to enjoy about this season, too.
Put on your best jacket or windbreaker, and take a walk or two while the weather is still nice enough to do so. Winter will be here before you know it after all. Take in the scenery of the changing leaves. Perhaps rake them up and jump in a pile. The crisp air and ever-changing scenery is something special. It's basically the magic of the season.
If you’re needing a more elaborate outing, head to a pumpkin patch. Grab one or two to crave for Halloween. Get lost in a corn maze. Take lots of pictures. After all, if it's not on Instagram, why even go? (We’re kidding of course.)
Fall is a time for great food. In our book, this season has some of the greatest treats. Pumpkin spice shows up in everything. Hot cocoa, cider, mulled wine and hotty toddy are the drinks of choice. And while pumpkin spice may not for everyone, most people know the real winner during the all is fun-size candy for trick-or-treating. When it comes to candy, Reese's is king and candy corn is an acquired taste. Everything else in the bucket is subjective.
Don't forget the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner and the signature dishes that come with it. Who doesn't love turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes and, of course, green bean casserole?
Perhaps a bonfire is the fall activity you need? If not, there’s always a football game to be watched. How about those Chiefs?
Whatever you do this fall, we hope there are memories made and seasonal enjoyment from things we love about fall.
Our best wishes for you and yours.
