NORTH NEWTON—The Bethany women's soccer team picked up a big 1-0 overtime win over the Bethel Threshers.
While the Swedes kept the gas on their offense throughout the match. However, Bethany was not able to find the net until the 102nd minute when Brena Mitchell, freshman forward, scored an unassisted goal to win the game.

Bethany outshot the Threshers 16-5 with four of each team's shots ending up on target. In the net for the Swedes was Destinee Wells, junior keeper. Wells added another shutout to her total and recorded four saves.

The Swedes will wait to find out where they will travel for the quarter final round of the KCAC Championships. This game will take place on Friday, Nov. 2.
