Gallagher 62-23

Peter 52-33

Big 12 Championship (Arlington)

No. 5 Oklahoma vs No. 14 Texas

Gallagher- I hate to say it, but if there’s any team in the conference that can take down Oklahoma twice, it’s Texas. Oklahoma has so much to play for that it’s hard to imagine them losing, especially with Kyler Murray. But I’m going with the Longhorns because of one word that I’m sure everyone is tired of hearing about: defense. 35-31 Texas

Peter- The Red River Rivalry part two, but for higher steaks. Actually, Oklahoma is the one with a lot to lose than Texas. Kyler Murray will do his thing, putting up insane numbers as he targets Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, but none of that will matter if their defense can't do their part. They will have the same result as the last time, leaving it to (Cameron) "Dicker the Kicker." 47-38 Oklahoma

ACC Championship (Charlotte)

No. 2 Clemson vs Pittsburgh

Gallagher- It would be cool to see Pitt put a bit of a scare into Clemson in this one, but the Panthers are a little overmatched in this one. 38-20 Clemson

Peter- It's shame to see the ACC Coastal are in the far end of the conference, but somebody has represent it. With that being said, Pittsburgh has decent players but they are at the same caliber as Clemson is offensively or defensively. The Tigers will dismantle the Panthers. 45-7 Clemson

SEC Championship (Atlanta)

No. 1 Alabama vs No. 4 Georgia

Gallagher- Such a tossup. I know Georgia has actual title aspirations, but this really is their Super Bowl. A chance to avenge last year’s loss against the same team in the same building will be plenty of fuel for the Bulldogs. Tua Tagovailoa is phenomenal, and either he or Kyler Murray should win the Heisman, but I think Georgia will win and make things extremely muddy for the playoff committee. 31-28 Georgia

Peter- I just can't pick against Alabama. Only Georgia is able to hang around with the Crimson Tides. However, Tua Tagivalioa, (my Heisman winner) is just almost unstoppable, and I think he will exposed Georgia's defense. Alabama's defense will have to be careful in stopping the Bulldogs' running game led by both D'Andre Swift and Elijah Holyfield. Both rushed for 1,858 yards combined. Stop those two, you shut down the entire offense. 27-20 Alabama

Pac 12 Championship (Santa Clara)

No. 11 Washington vs No. 17 Utah

Gallagher- A trip to the Rose Bowl is on the line in this one. These are two really good defenses, but Washington is much healthier at quarterback and running back than Utah. 34-27 Washington

Peter- This game is intriguing, but it would've been more fun to watch if both Tyler Huntley and Zack Moss were playing for the Utes. Without them, I can't trust Utes to pull this off despite having a pretty good defense. Myles Gaskins is my x-factor in this game tonight. I say he goes over 100 yards. 24-10Washington

Big 10 Championship (Indianapolis)

No. 6 Ohio State vs No. 21 Northwestern

Gallagher- Just like the ACC Championship, it would be fun to watch the major underdog hang with the heavy favorite, but I’m not sure I see it happening. Northwestern has had a good season, but they’ve been helped out by a massively under producing Wisconsin squad. Ohio State will win, and force an interesting playoff discussion. 37-24 Ohio St.

Peter-I'm not sure which Ohio State team will show up for this game. Will it be the same Buckeyes team that ran over Michigan, over the same Buckeyes that got ran over by Purdue. Don't sleep on Northwestern. They are are a well-coached team and they play smart. The Wildcats will give them problems, but Ohio State will get the victory and secure the fourth spot in the College Football Playoffs rankings. 41-24 Ohio St

AAC Championship

Memphis at No. 8 Central Florida

Gallagher- If Alabama, Texas, and Northwestern all win their respective championship games, and Central Florida beats an explosive Memphis squad, put UCF in the playoffs! I wouldn’t be upset if UCF jumped a few one-loss teams either. They won’t, but it would be so much fun to see them in the playoffs. 49-39 UCF

Peter- UCF made it this far, but without their quarterback McKenzie Milton, they are just an average team. I like their explosive defense but they will struggle against Memphis top rusher Darrell Henderson, who has 1699 yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground. UCF gets stunned late and their undefeated streak and playoff hopes will be nothing but a memory. No national championship for thr Golden Knights 38-21 Memphis
