The first National Signing Day has come and gone for first year head coach Jeremiah Fiscus, and when the dust settled, he and his staff had signed 60 new Bulldogs for next fall. Since taking over the program last November, Fiscus, and the assistant coaches he has assembled, have worked tirelessly on this year's recruiting class. In addition to the 60 that committed on National Signing Day, 18 other players have joined the Bulldog fold this spring. In all, the Bulldogs have 78 new faces, so far, and those new players come from 14 different states, including both coasts. Texas makes up the biggest number of recruits with 28, followed by Kansas with 13, and Oklahoma with 7. Other states in the mix are Arkansas (5), Louisiana (5), Missouri (4), Florida (4), Mississippi (3), Arizona (3), California (2), and Colorado, West Virginia, New York, and Virginia all with one.
Fiscus commented on this first class of recruits saying, "We are excited to sign our inaugural class here at McPherson College.  It is a large class that will have a chance to build something very special here.  There are a lot of quality young men who are good people, good students, and good players that will ultimately make great Bulldogs."
Spring practice will commence in a few weeks, new players will report in August, and the season gets underway in September.
