MARION —Little River High School track and field team, competed in a CKTL meet hosted by Marion High School on Tuesday.

The LadySkins finished third with 93 points, trailing behind Berean Academy (209) and Hesston (127).

It was a big day for Kaylee Zimmerman on the track as she led the way with three gold medals in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 200. Morgan Konen also captured gold in the javelin.

For the boys, Little River collected 63 1/2 points, falling behind Hesston (108 1/2) and Berean (236). Bronson Rains was the only athlete to win gold in the triple jump for Little River.
