Before McPherson High's Jake Alexander and Inman's High's Mason Thiessen make their jump at the college level, both will be participating in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game after being selected. This all-star game will be on June 22 in Salina at Kansas Wesleyan University. Alexander, who recently signed to play basketball MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe will be on the Blue team, teaming up with Christian Braun, a KU signee who was named Kansas' Mr. Basketball, and Easton Leedom and Braden Belt from Andover Central High School.

As for Thiessen, he will be on the White team which includes division-I prospect Caleb Grill of Maize High School and Cevin Clark of Arkansas City. Thiessen has signed to play college basketball at Emporia State.

Tipoff will be at 8:15 p.m. at the Mabee Arena after the girls game.
