WICHITA— The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2019 All-KCAC baseball awards. Student-athletes were selected for all awards by vote of the KCAC head baseball coaches.

Tyler Horchem, senior utility; Edwar Melendez, senior pitcher; Luis Duran, senior third baseman; and James Duvall, senior outfielder, represented the Swedes.

Horchem was a first team all-conference selection batting .341 on the year while slugging .507. Horchem brought in 33 runs and hit four home runs. Melendez was also a first team selection; he was selected unanimously by all coaches. Through 75.2 innings, Melendez had a record of 6-6 and recorded an earned run average of 3.21.

Duran earned second team all-conference honors with his .375 batting average and .520 slugging percentage. Duran smacked in 33 RBIs and had four home runs in the season.

Finally, Duvall landed on the all-conference honorable mention team. He finished the season with a .339 batting average, slugging .469. Duvall had 32 RBIs and three home runs throughout the year.
