MOUNDRIDGE — The Moundridge High School softball team had a great regular season as the Heart of America League Champions despite its postseason play being cut short in regionals. Even with a winning season, only one Wildcat made first-team.

Makenzie Elmore was voted First Team All-HOA as an infielder. ZiZi Sebrant made second-team as a pitcher. Ellen Durst (infielder), Erin Durst (catcher) and Keira Sebrant (catcher) earned honorable mention.

All-HOA baseball team announced

INMAN—The Brown brothers of Carter and Connor headlined for Inman High School baseball as both were selected first team All-HOA.

Carter was selected as a catcher, Connor made the elite unit. Both also received honors from the Kansas Association of Baseball association.

Inman's top pitchers Kyler Konrade and Landen Snyder, outfielder Derrick Johnson and utility player Jayden Leonhardt made second-team.

For Moundridge baseball, Outfielder Cody Hazelton made second-team. Pitcher Collin Kohl, catcher Wyatt Falco, second baseman Corbin Unruh and third baseman Jon Schlosser were honorable mentioned.
