SPRINGFIELD, MO—The Swedes golf teams had another successful tournament this week at the Evangel Fall Invitational. The Bethany men's team took the tournament championship while the Swede women brought home a second place finish.

Freshman, Connor Larkin led things for the Swede men with a second place finish in the tournament, just two strokes behind the individual champion. Freshmen, Zach Willard and Carson Guthrie also landed in the top 10, placing fifth and T6, respectively. Sophomores, Gunnar Gudmundsson and Ben Harvey, rounded things out for the Swedes placing 12th and T18, respectively.

With a T4 finish, freshman, Gwen Tapia had a great performance to lead the Bethany women's team. Juniors, Savannah Pinson and Ger'Kayla Tunley finished in the top 10 as they placed seventh and T9, respectively. Sophomore, Brooke Harrison finished up 12th in the field, and senior, Allison Weiderman closed things out placing 18th.
