ATLANTA—Business is booming for former McPherson great and current Oklahoma Sooner Taylor Robertson. Robertson, and her teammates Mandy Simpson, Gabby Gregory, Madi Williams advanced in USA Basketball's 3x3 qualifying tournament after winning the South Regional in Atlanta, Georgia.

This was a week after qualifying in the regional tournament in San Antonio, Texas. The Sooners went undefeated and earned an automatic berth to the 3x3 nationals. All 24 different teams will compete in the national championship and a chance to play in the 2020 Olympics next summer. Kansas State (East regional) and the Splash sisters (North Regionals) has also qualified.

"It's really cool to have an opportunity to go to Colorado Springs  and have a chance to be on the Olympic 3-on-3 team," Robertson said. It's even better to be able to do it with some of my teammates.

So far in San Antonio and Atlanta, we've played really well, so hopefully we can keep it going in our season and in April at nationals."

In 3x3 basketball, there are four players on a roster (three players play on the court and one substitute), and the game is half-court with a 12-second shot clock. Points made inside is one point, and behind the arc is two. Winner must reach 21 points during the eight-minute time limit.

Robertson was a freshman sensational last season when she averaged 14.3 points per game, and a .467 three-point percentage, which is ranked fifth in the nation. She started 29 of 30 games played and shattered the Sooners' freshman record for three-pointers made. The Big 12 named her freshman of the week four times.
