Gallagher 35-11

Peter 34-12

No. 6 Oklahoma vs. No. 11 Texas (Cotton Bowl)

Gallagher- I’m excited to see what Oklahoma does against a solid team. I still think the Sooners are a bit better than Texas, but in a rivalry game like this anything can happen. I legitimately think Oklahoma is at least 10 points better than Texas, but I’ll take the Sooners in a one-possession game. 34-27 Oklahoma

Peter- Last year’s game was spectacular, and I expect nothing less in this year’s Red River Rivalry. I think it will be a high-scoring game, Oklahoma is a far better team. If the Longhorns want to upset the Sooners, they got to find a way to stop Jalen Hurts. Heck KU, did it for one quarter, lets see what Texas is made of. 41-39 Oklahoma

 Iowa State at West Virginia

Gallagher- Iowa State is 3-2 but could easily be 5-0. West Virginia played Texas tough last week and I expect the same this week. I don’t think this game is a tossup, but it should be close. 28-24 Iowa State

Peter- I see two middle-of-the-pack teams had to earn their way to a 3-2 record. I expect this game to be tight one. Surprisingly, ESPN predictors give the Cyclones a 77 percent chance on beating West Virginia. It will come down in the fourth quarter, but I do believe Iowa State has the edge. 34-31 Iowa State

Texas Tech at No. 22 Baylor

Gallagher- Don’t look now, but Baylor is 5-0 and climbing in the rankings. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Tech win this game after they dominated Oklahoma State for most of the game last week. Baylor has a nice couple wins against Iowa State and Kansas State, while I’m not sold on Tech. 44-34 Baylor

Peter- Big 12 games have continue to amaze me every week. Texas Tech’s stunning upset over Oklahoma State was a prime example. Baylor still undefeated is another example. I don’t know what to expect other than another Big 12 shootout. Texas Tech has two reliable quarterbacks instead of one. If Alan Bowman is unavailable, Jet Duffey could probably put on an encore performance, but as for Baylor, give props to Matt Rhule for having the Bears climb its way up in the top three in the conference. A win against Tech could be another signature win. Also, Charlie Brewer is making a name for himself as well, throwing for 1202 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions. This could be an interesting matchup. 34-28 Baylor

No. 7 Florida at No. 5 LSU

Gallagher- Is Florida legit? I didn’t think so at the beginning of the season, but the Gators continue to impress even with a backup quarterback. Joe Burrow has been insane this season against lesser competition. If Burrow really is a Heisman candidate, this is the game to prove it. 33-28 LSU

Peter- The Florida Gators are setting a message that they are the real deal in the SEC. Makes you want to see more against LSU. Beat the Tigers, I’m completely sold they can beat anyone. LSU is heavy favorite and why wouldn’t they? The Tigers have a stud in Joe Burrows. Burrows can make his entrance as a Heisman contender if he outplays the Gators' defense. 27-23 LSU
