EL DORADO—On Saturday, the McPherson High School cross country team completed its regular season with three runners medaled at the El Dorado Invitational.

Courtney Eickbush (18th) and Evie Elder (22nd) were the top finishers on the girls' side, while Cody Achilles (16th) and was the top finisher for the boys. After the Bullpups' performance, Head coach Aspen Lott is confident enough her runners will make a big push during the postseason.

"This was the race we were looking for," Lott said. "The runners did an outstanding job pushing themselves and crushing their goals. El Dorado seems always to be a course we enjoy and compete well on. The effort the team showed today gives us great motivation going into the league next Thursday.

The AVCTL league meet will be on the next Thursday at 4 p.m.
