Gallagher 47-12

Peter 45-14

Texas Tech at West Virginia

Gallagher- Texas Tech has lost three straight games, including a double-overtime heartbreaker to undefeated Baylor, and last week’s disappointing loss at Kansas. This would be a good week for the Red Raiders to end the skid against a West Virginia team on a four-game winning streak. I’ll take Tech, but this game should be close. 31-24 Texas Tech

Peter- Both teams has been in a losing slump all of last month. It’s a new month and something has to give. I give the Red Raiders the edge because I don’t believe the Mountaineers have enough firepower to stop TTU’s high-powered offense. 41-17 Texas Tech

No. 12 Baylor at TCU

Gallagher- Baylor isn’t good enough to run the table in my opinion. They’ve nearly lost to every Big 12 team they’ve played. I know TCU is inconsistent at quarterback, but Max Duggan is the future. He’s a bit banged up. If he plays, which I think he will, then TCU wins. 31-27 TCU

Peter- This game will come down to whether or not Max Dugan is playing or not because of his middle finger injury. If Duggan is unable to play, TCU is could be in big trouble now that Alex Delton left the program, and their third-string quarterback, Mike Collins is also banged up and might not be available. Some might call this a trap game. Baylor is undefeated for now but has not beaten anyone, but a win at TCU could be a big momentum for the Bears before facing Oklahoma and Texas in the next two weeks. 24-13 Baylor

No. 16 Kansas State at Texas

Gallagher- This game should be interesting. Kansas State has all the momentum, but Texas at home is always tough. But if Kansas can nearly beat Kansas State in Austin, then the Wildcats can definitely beat Texas in Austin. Picking games in this conference is tough because there’s so much parity. 30-24 K-State

Peter- Kansas State is on the rise, while Texas is on the downfall. This could be a great way for the Longhorns to get back to relevancy, upsetting the Wildcats, a team that stunned Oklahoma two weeks ago. One thing I know, if they can’t stop the running game, it will be a long day for the Longhorns. 34-28 Texas

Iowa State at No. 9 Oklahoma

Gallagher- Iowa State is only two years removed from defeating Oklahoma in Norman. Iowa State is good, but they won’t sneak up on the Sooners. OU should win this game convincingly coming off the bye. 44-30 Oklahoma

Peter- Oklahoma is ranked  No. 9 in the College football playoff poll and could really use some extra juice to get back on the hunt. Obviously they need to win all out, including this Saturday against Iowa State. I see the Sooners make a statement win over the Cyclones. 42-20 Oklahoma

No. 2 LSU at No. 3 Alabama

Gallagher- Alabama at home is as safe a bet in college football as they come. However, this is the best offense Alabama has faced since Clemson in the national championship last year. Additionally, Tua Tagovailoa hasn’t played since late October and will be a game-time decision. Alabama has an eight-game winning streak over LSU on the line. This has to be the year LSU gets the elephant of its back. 34-30 LSU

Peter- This is toss up game for me if we see both see Joe Burrows and Tua Tagovailoa. Winner could definitely be a front runner for the Heisman and whoever wins could take the SEC West and move up in the polls. Last year, the Crimson Tides shut out the Tigers 29-0. Of course, LSU is a way better team than they were last season, but I think Bama still has the edge. 27-24 Alabama
