The Kansas State High School Activities Association released its updated classification list for the 2020-20201 school year.
A total of 18 schools from across the state will be on the move.
McPherson High School will drop down from 5A to 4A, while fellow McPherson County school Canton-Galva drops from 2A to 1A.
In 6A, Shawnee-Mill Valley is going from 6A to 5A, while Wichita Northwest is moving up from 5A to 6A.
While McPherson is going from 5A to 4A, Kansas City-Piper moves from 4A to 5A.
Concordia now goes from 3A to 4A, while Girard moves from 4A to 3A. Ellsworth, Oskaloosa, and Rossville are all moving from 2A to 3A.
Aitchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, Aitchison County Community, and Humboldt are all going from 3A to 2A, while Elbing-Berean Academy, Valley Falls, and Washington County are moving up from 1A to 2A.
Canton-Galva, Jackson Heights, and Pratt-Skyline all go from 2A to 1A.
The KSHSAA has 354 schools in total.
