Prairie View recently announced the addition of Dr. Cynthia Beevers, LP, to its clinical staff. She is a Licensed Psychologist and serves adolescents, adults and older adults ages 10 to 65 and older at Prairie View’s McPherson campus, located at 1102 Hospital Drive.

“I want to help people feel good in their life, and I appreciate being able to be a part of people’s journeys,” says Dr. Beevers.

Dr. Beevers initially entered the mental and behavioral health field in order to help her understand what happened in her childhood. As her education progressed, she learned about herself and her life, and found something meaningful and fun in the process. Dr. Beevers was drawn to Prairie View through the organization’s history of humanism, justice and compassion.

She is responsible for conducting psychological testing and facilitating individual, family and couples therapy, group therapy and crisis management. She has specialties in suicide prevention, trauma therapy and identity development.

Dr. Beevers holds degrees from Western Michigan University.
