Bullpups hammer Pratt to open playoffs
MCPHERSON – Strong defense was matched with a solid offensive output on Tuesday to give the McPherson boys a resounding 59-25 win over Pratt at home in the Roundhouse in their first-round game of the Class 4A substate playoffs.
Now 11-10 for the season, the Bullpups will get to tangle with Buhler for the third time this season as the Crusaders beat Nickerson 66-53 on Tuesday to also advance to the substate finals.

After the intermission, McPherson then outscored the Greenbacks 22-13 in the final two quarters to score the final 34-point victory.
